Boeing to can internet on thier aeroplanes

THE CONNEXION service launched by Boeing to provide internet access for flyers will be canned by the end of the year.
Boeing said that it had thought about selling the service to satellite firms but had failed to do so.

The service worked by using satellite to connect passengers to broadband but cost half a million dollars to kit out planes and was seen as too expensive for most passengers.
