Just my opinion but I really wish members would STOP posting about releases, leaks, and whatever unless you have definitive PROOF that they exist. Badly edited screenshots are not proof. It is annoying and confusing especially to newer members.

I'd say keep on posting if there's anything. Anything not obviously fake is worth looking into, especially during circumstances such as these. We have a beta coming up in less than 2 weeks and we know that the build is done. Besides, instead of complaining about information regarding a possible leak you might do some investigation of yourself and find some new stuff to share?

i would like new information but there is so much fake information floating around that you can hardly ever find real stuff. besides its not much to ask that you verify before you post.

Well verifying new leaks is nigh impossible, a lot of the time it involves downloading the leak and checking it. Besides, this is part of the fun, sifting through information. Having everything handed to you on a silver plate is boring. Unless something's obviously fake it's worth looking into, it's part of the challenge. If you can't stand it then you don't have to read the topics, you can just click "Mark as read" and go on with your life, nothing's hindered by stuff like this being posted.

Favourite OS Anything checked :P
Indeed. I don't really care about Windows 7 anyway. I know I can download it in like an hour or so but i dont really want to download every build and test it .. just gives me MORE things to test on my beta pc (which currently has 4 OSes on it (and i need to install another one !) thanks to HyperOS)

Don't lead a thread off-topic unless you're leading it someplace remotely interesting to the rest of the forum.
I don't see problems with people posting rumors or such, but it would be good if people stated only what they knew to be true.
I agree with Shane that there does seem to be a number of people writing authoritive type posts either without anything to back up what they're saying, or they try to paraphrase, don't understand the original context, and twist what a source is saying. We need a Member News / Lighthouse type subforum for rumors and the likes imo.

I wish that VMWare Workstation 6.5.1 was free. I wanted to know, server of VMWare is down because of expessive bandwidth usage!
You're wrong, I think you have been capped or denied, because I just checked it and it worked. Also the Server is about the same as workstation, but it must be accessed from a webbrowser and not from a program. Also the server can also run the VM's even when logged out of the "server" machine as Workstation can't. You have to have an VMWare account (free) to register for a serial (free) to download the server (free), or just download the VMWare workstation 6.5.1 build and find a 6.0 keygen... (worked for me).
Also you can't run the SERVER and WORKSTATION together, it's or server or workstation.
