Microsoft stops publishing the program live OneCare. The program will be succeed by next year for the free edition: Morro.

Morro will be published in the second half year of 2009, and it will be protecting againtst: virussen, trojan horses, spywhere and rootkits. The two programs won't be the same. Morro will give less possibilities for automaticly back-ups, and the optimalisation of the computer

Morro will be also usefull for slower computers.

Morro will be given as download for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

The reason for this all is that still now, not enough computers are protected. Only about 50% of all the computers in western part of the world contains an anti-virus program, and in other areas, it is worse.

Well onecare really sucked for picking up viruses. I believe it placed last in a shootout of all the major anti-virus apps. They really need to work on that for the new free version. Hopefully its ready in time for 7's release.
