* Ad Spotter: The software can automatically identify and remove commercials from recorded TV programs.

* Auto Backup: Nero will allow transparent backup of selected files and folders to add-on hard drives or (for an additional fee) the company's own online storage service.
i've been a beta tester of nero 9 ... and it was terrible. Only one beta build, no easy way to report bugs (like bugzilla or something like this) and the worst thing: nothing really new if you compare it to nero 8!?!?
Tell me one good reason to buy it if i own nero 8 already
i really don't see any good improvements over nero 6.
Nero 6 still works fine, and it burns everything i want to.
I also use nero 7 and 8, but it's kinda all the same.
The only reason I upgraded was because Vista is somewhat incompatible with Nero 6. Unless Windows 7 is going to push out more incompatibilities with software, I won't see any need.
I thought that most people used either Nero or Roxio, I prefer Nero. Since everyone seems to be bashing Nero, I'll go ahead and say what I use. Everything that comes with Nero is worthless, for me, except for the Nero Burning Rom application. When I install Nero I deselect everything but that. I wish they would sell the core application alone without all the extra crap.
The difference? "Nero Live Gadget" was included. But, as it was excluded from the list later. So it's not presented in the Nero 9 after all, I suppose?
