Cool - you're clearly doing lots of, err, "testing" Does Parallels have an equivalent of Snapshots/Undo Disks? I wouldn't really want to test out activation stuff if I had to spend an hour reinstalling Vista every time it got screwed up!

If you wanna call it that, yes But that's the way it is
Does Parallels have an equivalent of Snapshots/Undo Disks? I wouldn't really want to test out activation stuff if I had to spend an hour reinstalling Vista every time it got screwed up!
Good question Don't know but I'll check. And even if it doesn't, I can still backup the virtual HD before doing that stuff.. And I'll definately do that before the next, err, "tests" It doesn't take an hour to reinstall Vista in Parallels – 30 to 45 minutes, and it's up.
