2 very "professional" releases indeed! :) Thanks Andy! Keep up the good work with the fortnight releases.

Fun release, how close are they to RC quality? I'm guessing fairly close judging by build-numbers.

20 builds aren't that many really, should still be in the RC-branch one thinks.

Builds in the 248x are pretty much very similar to RC builds
except that you will find the default wallpaper to be the bliss wallpaper as in the rtm build (the one with the grass and hill)
In the RC1 builds, the default wallpaper is the Windows XP logo wallpaper with the blue colour.

XP was never split into a million branches unlike vista. Beta 2, rc1 and rc2 all were compiled in the main branch therefore there isn't really an "RC branch." RC1 build is declared RC1 from one of the main branch builds that met MS' expectations.

Out of interest, does anyone happen to have like a big collection of serial keys for these builds?

I collect pretty much just Whistler and Longhorn, but I'm damned if I know serial keys for stuff. Often people'll request a Whistler build and I'll want to check the disc before I upload it, but I can't because I don't have a clue what the key is.

Im obviously not asking for RTM serials or anything, but if anyone does have a big list in a file and feels like PMing me, Id be most joyous and would consider fellatio as a reward.
