A friend of mine purchased a CD labeled as Windows Millennium Edition Build 2348 at an Estonian market. This build was previously unleaked so we're glad to contribute. He just registered here on betaarchive, but wanted me to upload it to the FTP so it wouldn't become common warez for the public, he also wanted me to put it in an ISO and upload. The build's full story is below.

Quote:
Hello, this is my contribution to the beta collectors (hopefully not the last one!)
I would have loved to release this myself, but since I can't access the protected forums so I'll let nookupeous do it.

Over here is a Windows millenium build 2348 that I found on my old pirated 'OS collection' cd that I bought
from estonia long time ago in kind of a fleamarket style place.
The source CD also has Windows 2000 RC2 and some russian versions of windows 98.
Sadly, to fit many windows versions on one disc the boot support was dropped in favor of manual boot-disk installation.
The source CD just contained the actual install folders and no tools/extras.

Anyways, have fun and you can catch me on irc or BA forums.

NOTE: This ISO is not bootable, install boot from a boot disk and then launch "Q:\win9x\setup.exe" from the command line. (Replacing "Q" with your drive letter of course)

Have fun! Glad me and oasiz could contribute this build to this forum.

EDIT: If you guys are looking for more screenshots, check the link at the top of the page or for links running in a higher resolution and color mode check this page:

If it's unleaked should I put it on the betaarchive ftp?

OK, just an ISO, no compression or anything?

RAR compression would be nice.

Alright, I gotta make it bootable using files from another winME beta because on the cd it didn't come with an autorun and it isn't bootable. But yeah, I'll compress it after that.

Unfortunately I cannot, it came with other files on the disc that would be considered warez. I've ripped the abandonware beta data off the disk that I'm allowed to upload, I don't want to break the rules.

Really, he's just adding a boot sector which won't mess around with the install or anything.

Yeah, I just used the bootrecord and "tools" folder from the 2332 build to get the disk structure proper. I'm going to test that it boots properly then upload to the FTP. You gotta boot from this disk, I removed 2332's autorun and such to save space.

2332's autorun and system tools screwed things up, I don't have the software currently to make a proper bootable ISO, so I guess you guys will just have to pop in a bootdisk and browse to "win9x\setup.exe" from the command. But yeah, that method will work fine, also, I included the serial key in msbatch.inf so you won't have to enter it during setup.

I can do a boot sector if you want. Or at least tell you how to put a boot sector on.

I just don't have the software currently on this PC, I could make it bootable later, but the version without the boot record is uploaded on the ftp waiting to be moved.

2348 was either one of the developer build or a build that simply leak back in those days

The other builds at TBG was also leaked, but over the years, had disappeared.
