You know, it's good that OBrasilo is leaking these things, since they're EXTREMLY rare, and even if you could find a copy in real life, it would probably be at a collector's price. So I think it's good that he's leaking things like this, because then, anyone could easily be able to enjoy having a collector's item without a collector's price. And people have been looking for Windows 1.00 for a long time, so I think it's good for this community to have things like this.

Edit:

That would be probalby the most amazing beta we could have, yet, to me it seems as if that beta would have gone to the bottom of the sea. I think that by now we wont get it. Imagine, if today with the inernet is hard to get beta leaks, how was it in 1983 or so.
By now, I'll be very very happy to have 1.00 beta. Seems enough to me.
And I bet, that the day we less expect it, we will get those so-desiered builds.
:) :P

The Interface Manager (Version 0.9) was never handed out to anyone at the Comdex show, it was only displayed, so unless you tried contacting Microsoft, there's no way you could get this version unfortunately. And I doubt you could get it even if you did call Microsoft you would be able to get this version since it would be against the law to leak a prototype (at least that's what I heard).

You mean the day that everyone stops using GUI operating systems and goes back to command prompt only?

That is in no way against any law. It's how the "prototype" is distributed, is what is against the law *cough*. If Microsoft handed the software to someone, then that's legal, as they own the copyright. Else, you can get it from here.

I didn't mean "prototype" as in Alpha or Beta, I meant "prototype" as like a very early experiment that Microsoft does without giving it a build number or anything, and those things are ususally internal. I wasn't talking about alphas or betas like Chicago Build 58s.
