You lucky.... I want

Edit: No, the leaked one is the -1840 version, I have that installed. Someone told me there was a newer one, by a few days. Same build number, but different compile date.

Hey, Im just about to install the 1840 build as i saw the screenshots saying 'longhorn_RTM' so i thought i would check it out.

It will be intresting to see if there is a newer one.

I think there will be definitely a newer one as RTM, because this -1840 is Refresh 2 so m$ compiled another 18000 one.

according to a post on msfn.org the 1840 is the RTM! And this version should be out on MSDN
"Theory is when you know something, but it doesn't work. Practice is when something works, but you don't know why. Programmers combine theory and practice: Nothing works and they don't know why."

I predict that it will be through Windows Update mainly.

The build that i have been told is RTM is:
6001.18000.080126-2040
Because the -1840 one apparently contained a major bug (though im yet to see it..)

Vista SP1--Day 1
Adrian Kingsley-Hughes: Although most Vista users won't see the final edition for weeks, I?????????ve been fortunate to be sent the SP1 installer files, along with a complete copy of Vista with SP1 integrated into it.

Death encounters with Vista SP1 RTM
George Ou: I completed the first two installations of Vista SP1 RTM upgrade with shocking results. There was a near death experience with my desktop computer, and then a real death experience with the laptop.
That arrived on a ZDNet Mail
