Hey,


Im starting this thread to inform you about the latest things about Sp1 - release. When I got news I will post them here.

So lets hope M$ will release this stuff tomorrow.

I hope SP1 is released tomorrow, because I hear its a different build to the leaked RTM (it is a few days newer :P)

Edit: No, the leaked one is the -1840 version, I have that installed. Someone told me there was a newer one, by a few days. Same build number, but different compile date.

Hey, Im just about to install the 1840 build as i saw the screenshots saying 'longhorn_RTM' so i thought i would check it out.

It will be intresting to see if there is a newer one.

I think there will be definitely a newer one as RTM, because this -1840 is Refresh 2 so m$ compiled another 18000 one.

they should have sub sub builds
like 6001.18000.xx

according to a post on msfn.org the 1840 is the RTM! And this version should be out on MSDN

6001.18000.080126-2040
Because the -1840 one apparently contained a major bug (though im yet to see it..)

this was fake. this was a selfmade version from china
