Well the author said this about the video on his site.

Quote:
All the windows 7 images look fake and sick and other stuff…

I decided to get out of news reporting and get on with a little animation(just for now, News won’t be stopped though).

I wanted to post this last night as a leak but then I was scared that Microsoft would sue me or something

Well I made it well and it took around 1.5 days to make and record.

I did the following things before videoing it.

Downloaded a Windows Aero, cursor pack and applied it onto my system.

OK here goes:

:^)

All the shots/video looks the same.
Red background and weird windows/
According to the info leaked, the bootscreen description matches the screenshot.
The build shows is 6519 and there is crappy graphic driver as memtion in the article.

But is this real or someone decided to fake windows?
The windows looked awfully weird, looks somewhat good, but it really doesn't seem like windows.
:^)

I do know weirdos like doing this to confuse the world.
One more thing, there is NO build tag/ evaluation copy tag on bottom right :o

And hopefully it leaks.... I want to check it out!

I'm inclined to think that those are fakes. In such a early build they wouldn't have a Windows 7 "Feedback Button", and it probably would say something more along the lines of the Vista beta.

So basically, its just Vista with some files changed to make us believe their real.

Well, its definately a far more convincing fake then, I can quite easily believe all that is real.

I believed that these were fake until I looked at them deeper, and saw some fatal flaws in the screenshots.

The "Feedback Button" is a big giveaway, even if this was a public beta they would have something more official sounding (like the Vista Beta's)

The Gadget on the side says "Rate Your Experience", not only would that probably only be in a public beta, why are the first and last words capitalized, but not Your?

The details on a 6519 build didn't come out until recently, so most likely the M1 build would be a 2008 copyright (since it was sent out to partner's, it would have been a early 08 build that was polished).

I very much doubt they'd have updated all the branding already - look at the first Longhorns, they had all the XP bitmaps for a long time. Also the build number has some extra bits in the Winver dialog that aren't in the desktop tag (and the more recent builds don't have a long tag like that on the desktop anyway, they just have the main build number). The Set DPI option in Control Panel should also have a security shield next to it, and I doubt they'd reintroduce XP's "Display" control panel alongside the new "Personalisation" one. That gadget is far too informal too, it's the sort of thing that might appear in a public RC, not an M1 build.

Please look at this image :

Can you see any Linux code in it? Someone from a Chinese Website said that the image contains the code of Linux.

If you know about Linux, please tell me! Thanks!
