i just got this on windows update

and im not on the beta or anything

edit:
just installed it and it is 8.5.1238.0601 and it decided to install the spanish version

Cool, but still Beta 1. I'm waiting for the Final to make it to MSN Messenger 8.5 ;)

Could it be that you never uninstalled the original leak?
That might explain the spanish, I can't tell because I've since reinstalled windows.
