Windows Vista RC1 Released to Connect Testers!

Microsoft have just released Windows Vista RC1 (Build 5600.16384.060829-223) to Technical
Beta testers via MS Connect. The build is available for both x86 and x64 platforms.

Here are the details for the two DVD images:

A reminder to all testers that now is the time to make our feedback count! Download and install the

So it's really stable, really fast, but uses more ram than 5536 to do practically identical things.

Really, 5536 shouldv'e been RC1.

No, they only released RC1 publicly yesterday. There was a Pre-RC1 build recently though. The RC1 download page was also available at the time of the Pre-RC1 build, but the file on it wasn't RC1 (I think it was Beta 2 or something - they were just testing the page).
