Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

I still got the files of4029 lying on my hard drive, but it's not a in an orginal ISO.
If you guys want it so badly, maybe I'll just make an iso of it and upload it in a few days.
I guess I have to apply for member...

Btw, if you search the internet for 5259 torrent, you may find one that works

there are two Builds from 5308. The 5308.17 was bad a later one was better. Which version do you have?

@SaT: just wondering, do you have the x64 builds of 4051 and 4074? cause i think those are quite rare

Regarding Longhorn Server 5112: Thanks! 1.5GB -- this is for the compressed ISO, right? The uncompressed ISO is about 2.5GB I think.... Or am I missing something here?
Regarding the x64 builds: 4074 is on Andy's server, in both x86 and x64 IIRC.

The 64 bit of 5112 server compresses to 1.5gig using winrars best option...

There are 2 builds of this too btw, The one leaked by JCXP which was
6.0.5259.0 (winmain_idx02.051113-2100) 1,724,868,608 bytes in size.
& the one released to TAP testers...
6.0.5259.3 (winmain_idx02.051117-1715 3,096,133,632 bytes in size..

& 4029 was an absolute suffering build to use, slow, & constantly
crashing on a 2gig cpu'd system with 3/4 gig ram, even with the
supposed explorer fixes getting around, & most services disabled...

Thanks for that info, but what he's uploading is the 32-bit version which is "only" 2.5GB anyway. He RAR'd it up and that's why it's 1.5GB. I just wanted to be on the safe side.

I forgot to mention that the 64bit version was 1.7gig unrarred, shouldn't
the 32bit be a smaller iso.? never known it to be bigger than the 64bit
version.! That's a 1st...

Yes, have never seen the 32bit being bigger than the 64bit... :? But I am fairly sure that the 32bit version is 2.5GB, have checked multiple sources...

usually, but not for 5112-5259

5112 x86 professional is 2.42GB
5112 x64 professional is 1.9GB
5112 x86 server is 2.3GB
5112 x64 server is 1.7GB
BUT 5112 is one of those builds with xp drivers, if you compress the iso, 5112 x86 pro will become 1.6GB (those drivers compressa lot)

because there is more xp drivers for 32bit, the size of 32bit builds with the bundle xpdriver will be larger than 64bit.

5219 x86 client is 2.73GB and if you tried to comopress that, it would be about 2 gigs, which is still abit too much for me to handle uploading...

4051 and 4074 x64 were pretty much like XP x64 betas except with the slate theme, they were developed atthe same time.

Some facts:
-4051 and 4074 had the folders AMD64 and I386 and is not an image base installation
-4051 x64's size is abit less than 500MB
-4051 and 4074 x64 did not have the sidebar
-winfs does not exist on these builds
-the wallpaper would apply properly unlike 4083
-DWM does not exist in x64 builds

If you really want to know how they look like, image an installation XP x64 Beta 2 (build 1218), use the slate theme and the 4051 bliss wallapaper.
for 4074, use the the 4074 leaf wallapaer

what's in XPx64 Beta 2 is pretty much what's there in these builds.

That's all I know.

You're kidding right? The max speed I could get was 6KB/s. Thats over 32 hours for each file.

It's not that bad that this server is kinda slow because all of the stuff it offers is already on the AbyssUnderground server.

I finally upload 4029 to AbyssUnderground server.
It's not the orginal ISO, I just took the files I had and made an ISO with it.

So what you're trying to say is that you had Longhorn 4029 as a bunch
of files in a folder only, you don't have the original iso...
I find that a bit hard to believe, especially since I know you had access
to Grabberslashers ftp whist osba was up & running...
Yet another ripped & repacked iso getting around... :?
If I weren't so tied up on Azureus tending to my own needs I'd up it
myself...
Whilst I'm on the subject of torrent, I noticed that Demonoid is taking
new accounts for a limited time these next few weeks if anyone is
interested, they tend to have a bigger/better selection of hard to get
progs that other sights don't seem to host....
They don't take new accounts for very long either so you may want to
get in whilst the offer is open..
I tend to hit the servers when all options via torrent have failed, which so
far hasn't happened...
I'd rather we shared the servers contents via torrent to TBH,
& share the load instead of costing the owners of the servers...
Shame we don't host stuff here the same way...

I think the Ridgeback server had every single vista build when it was still accessible :/ I wonder what happened to it, it just went offline without any warning...

My burnt cd gave me errors...
besides, I got mine from emule 2 years ago...

Anyways, thanks for the tips, I found an orginal RARed, I'll upload that.

Talking about orginal, I think I have 4015 orginal (Ref'x refered to bull [censored]) burnt to a disc. anyone intrested?

Btw, KenOath, do you have the orginal 4051 MSDN iso?

You may need to get yourself a copy of isobuster or equivalent...
I often find CDs that wont copy & paste or even image with winimage or
alcohol, can quite often still be read by isobuster..

Btw, KenOath, do you have the orginal 4051 MSDN iso?

I have 2 different copies of 4051..
1st = 692,168,704 bytes in size, & has a CD label that says
" Longhorn PRO PDC " which I'm sure I got from OSBA...
This one was made with Ultra ISO 6.5 & is burnt to CD..

2nd = 691,873,792 bytes in size, & has a CD label that says LB1PFRE_EN
Which I imagine may be what you're referring to..
This ISO was made with CDimage2.47 , & is named
" longhorn-4051.0.idx02.031001-1340_x86fre_pro-LB1PFRE_EN.ISO "...
& is rarred on one of my backup drives ..

I have 2 different versions of 4015 too.!
1st was made with CDimage 2.39 & has a label that reads LH_PRO_4015,
& is 698,259,456 bytes in size, which I'm sure I got from OSBA & again I
only have it on CD...
2nd was made with CDimage 2.47 & has a label that reads LB1PFRE_EN,
& is 700,575,744 bytes in size, & has a full ISO name that reads as
" longhorn-4015.0.main.030328-1500_x86fre_pro-LB1PFRE_EN "
& again, it's rarred on one of my backup drives..
Perhaps Ref'X referred to the disk as BS because it was never leaked as
a full original ISO, I'm sure if anyone was to know it would be him,
he has probably spent more time researching the facts on longhorn
than anyone we're likely to meet...
