Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

I have Vista Ultimate Lite and have shown you guys proof. I need all the games that come with Vista Ultimate and there is a DLL (CardGame.dll I think) and I need that too and I need to know where to put it. If there are more DLLs, please give them to me and tell me where to put them. Thanks in advance!

Did you legally purchase a version of Windows Vista?

Despite his/her claims that they have, I doubt it, Mugenfox said a while back he/she couldnt afford replacement ram for their laptop, due to their allowance being used for the next 2 months. :S

If I were you I'd buy a DVD drive I wouldnt have to put up with this [censored], probably malware-infested copy of windows.

Yeh, Joejoe never do warez. I mean, Longhorn isn't warez is it? 8-)

It's illegal. Go search a torrent.

Longhorn would be considered warez by some websites, but if you don't consider it warez, then I sure don't! Some person on this forum once asked me for the aero theme in Vista because somehow, it got accidentally deleted and I gave them the needed files.

It doesn't matter what you consider it - it's still warez.
End of.

Regardless of what people think, any Microsoft beta is "warez" since Microsoft in most cases never authorized the distribution of it in the first place. And Vista and XP are most definately warez since they are retail products. And any part taken from that, even a textfile, is also considered warez since it's part of the final product.

Because Microsoft never finished a product or released a preview of such product doesn't mean it's automatically 100% legal and free to distribute. If it were BA wouldn't need passwords etc, and we could put all our stuff on a public website. Do that and see how long it takes for Microsoft to shut you down.

And when it comes to asking for pieces of beta software (such as themes or single dll-files) it's really up to Andy to decide that, not any of you. If you are looking for a file from a beta then just grab the entire release from here and extract it yourself. If you are looking for a file from a final retail... that's another case, and in my personal opinion should not be allowed.

However I don't run the site, Andy does. His call.
