Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

Fri May 30, 2008 4:03 pm

Im looking for a build of Windows 95 that had Kids Space pre-installed.
It was preloaded onto a Packard Bell computer that I had a very long time ago.
Does anyone know where i can get this build?

EDIT: I think Kids Space was part of packard bell navigator.
I have version 3.6 which i downloaded from Betaarchive ftp server, but it doesn't work.

Where do you want to go today?

Favourite OS
All Microsoft operating systems!
If it doesn't work, then chances are you could have ended up with my version from my Packard Bell Force's (manufactured in October 1995) disk image, but if I remember correctly, that one didn't get moved back in December 2007 when I uploaded it along with my Packard Bell Legend's (1993 model) disk image, however, if that is the copy that you have, then I apologize that it doesn't work, there's a .DLL file missing from that one.

Also, I'm sorry, but I don't have a working copy of what you're looking for, unless you're looking for the later version of Kids Space, which is preinstalled on my Packard Bell Multimedia (1997 model, manufactured on February 4th, 1998). At the same time, I was going to upload its disk image as well, but then the CD-R that I burned it to stopped working properly (I got a CRC error in Windows XP, and I was somewhere else, not at home), so I couldn't upload it and instead asked ewan275 to upload his Packard Bell Multimedia's Restore CD-ROM.

I'm sorry that I couldn't be more helpful. You might find a recovery CD-ROM or recovery media on eBay, however, or even a system itself, that actually has what you're looking for.
