Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

I'm looking for Microsoft Office version 4.3 distributed on floppies.
I've searched all FTPs here, and all of 3 Office suites aren't what I'm looking for (This "Office 4.5" is probably Office 4.2 German!)
I'm looking for version archived in old way, not using cabinets, but using MS Compressor (this one which renames last letter of file's extension to _ )
This version has been spread over the Internet - I remember it on some HTTP server, or Torrent sites (torrent is: http://static.btmon.com/Applications/Unsorted/Office43.eng.torrent.torrent.html, but not active).

Thanks for reply. I have a CD version. All files there are uncompressed. Unfortunately - my laptop has only floppy drive.

There seems to be 2 different English versions of this, a 24 disk set, & a 31 disk set...
I have 2 x 24 disk sets, & a 31 disk set, new, never used, both sets are labelled a
"Microsoft Office Professional" Version 4.3...
The 21 disk set is on grey floppies, the 31 disk set are black floppies, it
looks as though the 21 set are dmf format, whilst the blackones are std format...
I'm sure I have here somewhere, an MSDN office CD set whereas it gives the
option to create office floppy sets, i'd much rather up that somewhere than image
a ton of floppies...
Also found office 4.2 in some asian language on floppy,as well as english,
& office 97 STD on a ton of floppies...

The early days of what later became volume licensing..

BTW, the original poster has been sent the d/l link for this, so it can be closed to
avoid spamming...
