I need some vista files

Post by Daniel »

Hi!

My computer just restarted after the installation of some automatic updates and nothing works anymore. The explorer.exe and the kernel32.dll is broken (maybe some more files) - I cannot open any programm, no messenger, no archiver, no firefox. All I can do is open the task manager, the command line and the internet explorer. Can someone please upload the explorer.exe and the kernel32.dll from Vista SP1 x64? Please do not pack the files, I need direct links to them, since I also cant extract archives. All I can do is downloading them and replacing the via the command line (I hope this works).

Thank you very much!

EDIT: I just got the idea to run sfc /scannow... maybe this works...

I can send you files from Server 2k8 x64 (build number is the same: 6000.18000). Will these files work in Vista?
