Post subject:  [OFFER] Non-English game originals

I have uploaded a copy of Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge to the FTP. Don't worry, I'm not here to ask about my application for access - I know these things take time. I point this out because it is relevant to my question.

I have lots (never counted - probably about 150-200) originals for games, especially graphic adventures, from the 2002-2012, but most of them are Spanish retail editions, either translated to Spanish or multilingual editions (long story). Many are B-series and poorly known, but they are certainly retail originals and I would like them to be preserved. Would this be a problem? More specifically - Are non-English versions of games acceptable?

I have assumed that games that were developed originally in Spain, such as the one I mentioned above, would be acceptable, since they are the original editions as originally developed. If so, what about things such a Spanish edition of Tzar, which was originally developed in Russian? (I believe this one may be playable in English, though).

I have also a reasonable number of US and UK editions of graphic adventures, hidden object games, and other relative rarities, all of them retail originals, but I don't think these are in doubt if I read the rules correctly. My only question concerns the acceptability of non-English language releases.

Hello!

Non-english games are acceptable as long as they are original retail copies, i.e not fanmade translations etc. If the studio making the translations are licensed to do these translations then those titles are fully acceptable.

Cool thanks. Then I'd better get the scanner ready - it's going to be a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it.
