Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

I finally have something to offer that might fit the BetaArchive FTP, well, I think. After getting to understand the steps to dumping software, I decided that today is the day I can finally offer something, and that is an OEM copy of Microsoft Works 9. Now, since Works 9 was released in 2007, I'm not sure if it would be something that would fit the BA FTP or not, but maybe it is, since this software is eleven years old. I found this CD while rummaging through my pantry, which has a box of device drivers and some software copies, and I chose the Works 9 CD to offer on BetaArchive. This CD used to belong to my dad during its golden days. Now, this disk did not come in a CD/DVD cover, but rather a plain paper disk envelope, but the envelope does have a small label which gives a little bit of details about the software. Here are a couple pictures I took of the media.

I apologize for a part of my head being on the disk, but the disk is made like a mirror so, yeah.

Anyways, that's the offer I wanted to make for you, Microsoft Works 9, all converted into a MDF file, and packed into a 7z archive.

I actually do have a Works 9 disc as well (Also Dell OEM).
Unless you actually did scan the disc and the pictures you showed here were just to demonstrate the contents, I'm not sure if pijey would be okay with your face being in the way. :?
I'd be glad to help offer a scan of the disc if such is the case.
Works was made to remedy user bases with small budgets in the times when legitimate Office editions that Works was comparable to in core functionality usually cost ten-fold. Office has since become more and more accessible to the average consumer over the years, so use cases for Works became irrelevant and it makes sense that this should already be abandonware.

Yeah, this does seem to be a "Dell OEM" copy of works 9. I think this disk came with the Windows Vista Dell Inspiron had somewhere between 2008 and 2010.

Also, I would probably understand if mrpijey wouldn't be okay with my hands being on the disk. So I could just take another picture of the Works 9 disk, this time, I can put a piece of plastic paper over it, so that it can block my face from being on the disk. :P
