"Windows 98 Second Edition is designated by the internal version number 4.10.2222A, or 4.10.2222B if it has been updated with the Security CD from Microsoft."

I know what you're looking for, I think. Microsoft put out a CD a while back that had updates up to February 2004 on it for 98/SE/ME/2000/XP, along with another CD that had security software on it. I believe it was Computer Associates software.

It was all stuff available from the Windows Update service, too. I had one because I was stuck on dial-up, but I've lost said disc.

But of course, Microsoft puts out DVD ISOs of all updates, too!

I have the said disc. (February 2004 Update CD)
But, apparently the copy I took of it won't ISO because i scratched the backup media. I can't find the original at the moment but I'll try and track it down and image it tomorrow.

Edit: Managed to copy across everything except DirectX 9B for XP. As Windows 9X had it's own version of DirectX in it's folder.

How big it is and what a connection do you have? 13 hours are an eternity

You could always just upload the bit for Windows 98, if it's clear on the CD which bits of it are for which OS - it probably contains Windows 2000/XP service packs and the likes that are large but not needed.

Hmmm.... If you are uploading 477MB with a speed of 128kb/s the process should take 63 minutes

Yea, i might try that then
It's only 140MB so it should take less time. Abadoned uploading the Whole CD and now uploading just the Windows 9X files.

@D.Konieczny: It's 128 kilobits per second not KiloBytes
