Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

Ok, the last topic was closed way to quickly... what purpose did that serve?

Anyway, the version of Office 95 on Hounsell's server is Office 95 Standard (missing Access), and is an International English version to boot (sorry I didn't explicitly state US release), where I had to choose a British or Australian dictionary.

Can anyone else help here? I can't imagine it is this hard to obtain.

The topic was closed because the member doing the upload requested it. If that was too quick, I apologize for that.

do you need bookshelf 95?

I can upload both cds if you need bookshelf 95.

Both cd's will be in one archive totaling 677 MB.

update: upload user acount is disabled.

I have a server I can host it on but it will be painfully slow.

Once it's on the sillyproject server, i'll download it and put it on mine, after compressing it a bit more though...

yep, the download dropped. I'm going to try again...

also, i set up an upload account on my server if you want to upload it, it may be faster than me downloading it...

The upload account only works in a client, not a web browser, though.

use a download manager. That way if it drops you can resume it. How long is it going to take you to download it?

I know that.

Since Jeff is downloading office95 pro off my server I think this topic should be locked.

Quit asking to lock the topics already. At least wait until I (or someone else) snag it and take a look.

There is no reason for the topic to be locked. It stays open, and as a general rule only the author can ask for the topic to be locked (unless it is an out of hand topic involving flaming etc).

I know now I was acting too quickly when I locked the other topic dealing with Office 95 Pro. I was also not paying attention if the author and the person requesting the lock were the same. I want to apologize for that, it won't ever happen again.

your server is slow too so I would also upload it to sillyproject.

you may want to resume the download because server is now back on.
