join the usergroup which can access the private server forum. You have enough posts (10 posts are required).

Neptune should be the Home Version of Windows 2000.

I beg to differ. Whistler was/is the planned successor of both the 9x and the NT line.

After Neptune and Odissey were canceled, Whisler became the successor of Windows ME and Windows 2000.

Neptune should have been completed, sent out and been a good replacement or successor to Windows ME.

They stopped their work on Neptune about 1999 after Caldera dropped the charges nfor the way microsoft licensed their windows 9x systems with DOS integrated. Neptune was gonna be like the alternate road in case something did happen to their 9x line. I think Odyssey was gonna be server or something to finish unfinished technologies that didn't make it to 2000. both were canceled and completely merged together to become whistler.

That's just what I have heard. I'll try to find the source. It's been a few years since I saw that info so it may be wrong (as in I might have left out a few minor details)

In the "Private Servers" section, if you were accepted in the "Members" group.
