Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

Anything checked :P
A while back I got this from somewhere but only parts 1-7 were there with an incomplete part 8. The RAR has a comment of this:

Anyone have the rest of this?

Yes, but only as a complete ISO... Not as the RAR parts.

The 4 modified versions on the CD have the timebomb removed, yes. The other 4 are completely untouched.

It says in the release notes (which I pictured above) that no keys are required.

It says in the release notes (which I pictured above) that no keys are required.

then, they are not the true orginal or it was leaked after being modified

I have originals of them here, in looking at the Setupp.ini I see that they
don't require a key either, don't assume that because they don't need a
key means they mustn't be originals...
Take a look at the Setupreg.hiv with a hex editor & see if there's mention
of a TBOMB.180.HIV..
That'll confirm whether or not the iso had been tampered with regarding
the timebomb, usually it's tampered with 1st before any other file is...
At the beginning of the setupreg you should see a line that says
"ives\Retail\obj\i386\TBOMB180.HIV" if original...

I guess Kenoath can be correct, but 2296 was beta 1 and it doesn't require a key either. That doesn't sound right.

I don't know how many ways I can say this that'll get the message accross...
The originals all have a PID listing in the Setupp.ini that reads
Quote:
[Pid]
Pid = "50293270"

If your not familiar with what this Setupp.ini means, the 50293 is the
Win2000 Key type, the 270 means VLK, Win2000 VLK's never required
Keys...

They don't come more original than these...
Image

The earlier builds I have also have the same PID listing, & were also
made with the same cdimage.exe so I'm assuming them to be originals,
especially seeing that no one has altered the Setupreg.hiv yet, or added
any other text files or nfo's...

Why is it saying 8-in-1 as it has 4 versions on it?

I hate it when they split stuff up like that. SO annoying. Like I had SWGB mac on MacDomain to download, and it was in 8 parts. Now, i thank the guy for doing it but retarded Mediafire blocks resuming of downloads. So, It estimates it will take 1 day for 1 part. And I can't leave my PC on that long, due to my parents, so I am stuck. Really really annoying.
