I found this while looking through my old PC Gamer cd collection. You probably already have it in your private FTP but here it is anyway. :)

Is this the one where halo was a top-view stratergy game, like Halo Wars?

The Halo2- Bonus DVD, and the movies on the xbox map pack disc, and a demo video i scored from the myth trilogy CDs show a timeline

Halo was 2 different games before the Xbox version was released or even heard of. A point and click, followed by a 3rd person shooter, and then the 1st person Xbox one.

I would be quite the happy one to get any pre-pre Halo releases, I have tried contacting the dev's but I cannot find any reliable Emails from the Bungie team.

I doubt Bungie would give out any Halo betas, plus they don't own the Halo rights anymore, and Sawnoose said he wasn't allowed to give out the Halo PC/CE source when asked.

Well, I would still like to talk to someone, even if they deny me.

Someone at bungie posted on reddit a few weeks ago. I asked, but got no response when asking about pre-beta assets. They had mentioned that they had a source depot setup with all source code dating all the way back to 1991. I'll try to find the comment.
