That's neat, but it's not the Source engine - it's the original Half-Life engine, which was based off of Quake 1's engine. I'd guess that this is probably from ~1997 or so.

The engine of HL1 (that is indeed modified Q1's engine) was called Source or SRC during development process and the final form of it was reffered as Gold SRC.

This looks interesting. But could someone send it to a place the rest of the world can actually READ? I don't know one word in russian, and I can't see a download link anywhere on the page, all of it is jibberish to me...

Thanks for the english download page! For the future, please post files on spyware-free/popup-free/subscriber-free english sites so everyone here can be able to read and download the files.

As for the wads etc, I guess you have to add them in your HL folder and manually load the WAD-file. Assuming that you put the model and map file correctly just load up the map by calling "map valve" in the console. That's what I am guessing. I'll see if I can compile a binary-ready package for these files.

Anyway, thanks for the files!

Yeah Actually you just extract it all to your Half Life Folder And then just enter Half Life and open the console, then simply type Map Valve

Quake 1 I enjoyed for a bit, but not so much anymore. (The ones listed above are pretty much the only ones I still play)
