A few things about the two Sonic 2 prototypes. They are not both considered "Beta" for a number of reasons. If anything, the first build should be considered Alpha, as it was highly unusable. Another cool thing about the Alpha is the fact it was used in Nick Arcade's television show. One cool thing about the "Beta" that has been around for years was that it was leaked of a Chinese web group website, and the fact that it was stolen from a showing (since security wasn't as big as it is now).

More information can be found at Simon Wai's website, which is now under "LocalH's" administration.

It's just the S2 collision pointers. To restore the S1 Pointers, use these game genie codes:

Code:
    AA1A-CEAL
    AA1A-CEFT
    AA2A-CEB0
    AA2A-CEB6
    AA0T-CAG6
    AA1A-CAEC
    AA1T-CAA2
    AA1T-CAF8
    AA2A-CADJ
    AA2A-CADR
    AA1T-DECG
    AA1T-DEHN
    AA2A-DECN

To access GHz Act 1 without levelselect + debug, use these patch codes.
Code:
   FFFE10:0000
   FFFFFA:0001
