Since BAv2 has just been started we all know theres going to be bugs, instead of having 47 seperate topics, lets move them into one.

I'll start, (even though Andy is already aware about some of these)

- cannot stay logged in on any computers (seems to be cookies, tried on several computers to no avail)
- sometimes clicking a link to a thread takes you back to http://www.betaarchive.co.uk

clearing cache and cookies does not fix any of these

add: the fact 12 year olds are spamming the Announcements board

The Wiki link leads to #, which is a link to the current page.

Dumb Question, but have you tried clearing the web browsers cache and cookies. As it appears to stay logged in for me.

Yep, first with Firefox itself (Ctrl+Shift+Del) then with CCleaner but it still happens. :?

I got logged out when the new upgrade was applied, but after logging back in again I never had problems (using Opera 10 preview)

Wiki is offline, hence why its "greyed" out.

The forum works fine, clear your cookies PROPERLY. Don't use a short cut, and clear sessions with it as well. I am using firefox and I haven't had a single problem with logging out yet.

The new posts links do work, I use them myself regularly. You may just have no new topics or posts to look at.

I dunno why, sometimes I'm browsing the board and I'm suddenly logged out...

I already cleared my cookies when it was requested yesterday (forum link fix).

Can you isolate the problem with the browser by trying other browsers?

Just a few suggestions from me, don't worry if you're busy with other stuff at the moment:

-- Would it be possible for the logo in the top left of the page to take you back to the forum home like it used to?
-- "Beta's" under the "News" heading shouldn't have an apostrophe.
-- Some places (on pages and on the browser title bar) say "BETAArchive" while others say "BetaArchive" - it would look tidier if they were standardised to all be the same (the new standard seems to be "BetaArchive")
-- Is it possible to have a shortcut to the Image Uploader under the box where you type your message like there used to be, it would help remind people to use it and also makes it easier to get to?
-- Could we change the icons for posts (the circles with the little squares inside them next to each topic) that aren't that nice (in my opinion) from the old ones to the ones that originally came with this theme (or something else), which I thought were much nicer?
-- The brackets around "{The community for BETA collectors}" in the top left look a little odd for me, I suppose they fitted in with the old logo that had curly brackets in it but they don't really fit now.

Am I missing something...perhaps an ENTIRE forum section...?

(Used the Site Feedback link when I wasn't logged in)

It's been happening for me on FFX3, IE7 and IE6.

The logout problems are happening in Firefox and Safari (which I never use, and have never visited BA on) for me.

Strange that everybody expirience stayed logged in doesnt work in firefox.
I am using Firefox 3.0.5 dutch, and never had any problem with phpBB2 and phpBB3 now.

EDIT:
And andy if you can, please input the IMAGE UPLOADER icon back in when you post.
And if you click the image uploader now, it doesn't open a new forum.

I think the colours of the different user groups should get changed.
Imo current ones are to bright, maybe it would look better if you choose the colors from the logo...

I didn't want them too similar. I did try to make them dark but then it was hard to distinguish between them.

I'll be working on the problems currently listed in the next few days. The ones I won't be changing are the post icons, because I hate the other icons. These ones you can clearly see when there is a new post or not, but the other ones weren't very easy to distinguish with a quick "scroll wheel flick" down the page. This is why they have been kept from day one.
