I'm fairly sure that is a phpbb restriction, and I've never seen it in the admin panel...

after a certain number of quotes (maybe more than 3 though) i think it would probably be easier to read and more space efficient if people just removed the oldest quote as it is no longer the focus of the series 4 or 5 times later (its the general idea not the focus).

The Student Room, another forum I am on, has a BBcode spoiler tag that puts whatever you write in it into an expandable box... maybe quotes over a certain level should be put in a tag like this?
