I think it would be a good idea to categorize both of your FTP server accounts , like one for OSes (beta and RTM) only and one for other stuff (music, games, apps). What do any of you think of this?

I agree, its not a good idea. Its best that everything is just left where it is.

I didn't think it was a silly question - it is a bit confusing how some things are split across both servers eg there's Longhorn builds on both.

If you meant both servers as in FTP HD 1 and FTP HD 2 then I suppose I could figure something out. But if its say my FTP and someone elses FTP then its out of the question.

The only problem I could see with that would be the size of the os betas considerably outweighs the other stuff.

Maybe put certain betas on one, and others on the other...

e.g. everything before whistler on one, longhorn onwards on the other...

What about having one account, a folder with two folders inside (1 and 2) and have each harddrive mounted under a folder, then just set the home dir of the FTP account to the folder with the folders!

make sense or is it a stupid question?

I like the idea, but wouldn't moving everything be a pain?
