well i been working in my private IRC server thing
so i got the crazy idea that maybe we can have it 2

so im leaving you guys with the url and stuff

irc.ardcorp.tv
or
irc.ardcorp.tv:7000 for ssl port

umm what else
oh yea
server has the basic most common services

Nick
Chan
Vhost
etc..

umm i have bugs and stuff but i think i can fix them all

so what you think if we have our own IRC network?

afaik BA had an IRC server...but...it failed =P

well... the thing is here we can get normal users and more users
and services wont be down

Moved to Site Feedback, this isn't a download

IRC was discontinued because it was dead. Nobody was using it over the two months that it was on, so it got turned off. There were never more than two people in the channel at a time and even they were AFK so not speaking.

IF there is demand for it I don't see why we can't set it up again, but i'd rather it wasn't hosted by someone else. That just causes problems (like last time with services going down all the time).

Now that we have more members, maybe having an IRC would work this time. I would certanly welcome having one again

Also if it were to go ahead, it should be launched properly like the wiki. (and the BA Radio needs to be)

I overlooked, that BA had an IRC Server. Now we have more users, so give the IRC server a new chance.
