Hello all,

Some new rules have been added to the trading forum, both by request and by myself to aid in the safety and security of sales.

# MSDN/Technet accounts are now forbidden to be sold.
# An item of fruit or veg must be included in the picture of any item sold to verify authenticity.
# You MUST indicate a price. "Open to offers" is not a price.

So, the new rules are as follows:

- This forum will be un-moderated as far as what is being sold (within reason).
- Communication between sellers should be done on the forum or via PM, etc.
- BetaArchive and the staff has nothing to do with any sales made. Any problems should be taken up with the seller.

- You MUST indicate a price. "Open to offers" is not a price.
- CD Keys cannot be sold on their own. A license sticker must be provided otherwise there is no proof of ownership.
- MSDN/Technet accounts are not allowed to be sold as it is against the Microsoft EULA.

- All sales MUST include a picture of the item being sold. Partially blur out license keys on pictures.
- All items sold MUST contain an item of fruit or vegetables in the picture to verify the authenticity of the item being sold.
- Any sale not conforming to the above rules will be removed without warning.

Yes. It verifies authenticity. How often are you going to find a picture of a CD/DVD with fruit or veg in the same picture? It proves you own the item you're selling and that its not a fake.

Yes you can still do this, but you must indicate a price.

Very good ideas IMO :)

Another forum I frequent request a picture of Custard Powder on any items that they're selling (Automotive). I guess this works ok in a UK market, but fruit is going to be easier to come by anywhere :)

Only if it's an ebay sale though yeah, what's the chances of getting your money
back if it's just a funds transfer.

I know that when you transfer money you can mark it as eBay goods, don't know if the same refund process applies
