Hello all,

As the title dictates, we are going to start a "Release-a-fortnight" scheme on BetaArchive. This is similar to the "Release-a-week" scheme that was on OSBA. Thanks to m4rkuz, we have several un-leaked beta's for release. We will not spoil the surprise on what they are, but I can tell you now, they are very nice goodies!

We will do the same as on OSBA, we will release each beta on a Friday night, every 2 weeks. They will be instantly available on the FTP as soon as announced and you can download at your hearts content!

I hope you all will thank m4rkuz for his generosity and contributions to the community!

All releases will be as close to 7pm GMT as possible.

The first release will be:
8th Feb 2008

More releases will be on:
22nd Feb
7th March

Andy (Admin)

EDIT: Anyone interested in contributing to the release-a-fortnight scheme please don't hesitate to contact me!

Thanks for that! I hope it will make life at BA more interesting.

For those wondering, its a "release-a-fortnight" for a reason. This gives you two weeks to download, and if you wish, test the build and allow time to discuss it on the forum before the next one comes along. It also spreads out the builds over a longer amount of time. :)

If you had the 10.5 Beta's (for Intel procs) I'd be interested, although there is already a build on the server.

I have a copy of 5728 x64 that I should upload lol.

OK. They were about to be deleted due to 7+ days of no uploading. If you have to do that, please make sure you state in the folder name to leave it there or it will get deleted.

How true - the majority of the branch-offs of OSBA-like forums aren't filled with so many contributors as BA. BA is my home for everything beta. I love this idea, and hope that it becomes a standard feature here. :P

Well, I've heard that "The Glenda Corps" was the bad side of OSBA. lol.
