DDoS attack

Post by Andy »

Hello all,

Yes we're being DDoS'ed. Why? Who knows. I'm working with the DC to get the IP null-routed.

Got a botnet? Feel free to attack 64.62.190.32 who is causing this problem.

The site might be a little slow until this issue is resolved. 8Mbps almost of traffic inbound is causing the slowness as its UDP packets as well.

r-type.ca has the same IP range... Koptor has a linux server of some sort with a 100Mbps uplink, he is set to away on msn at the moment... coincidence?

Still, not pointing fingers. It might be him it might not, no evidence yet.

How can it be a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack if its coming from one source?

Its probably a scheme to get more donations or higher Google ad-revenue...

You can't DDoS from one source...
