This release of build 180 comes with a wrong LAYOUT.INF file, which tells the setup on which disks and in which CAB archives to find the files. The LAYOUT.INF file in PRECOPY.CAB archive is for a 1.44MB floppy release of this build (19 disks), whereas the files themselves are packed for DMF (1.68MB) floppies (14 disks). This causes setup to not find files on disk 3 and onwards and normal installation is not possible.

I've fixed LAYOUT.INF so it points to proper CAB archives for the DMF release and included it separately in the archive. Unfortunately, this build does not seem to prioritize files found outside the CABs, so you pretty much have to wait for it to extract the wrong LAYOUT.INF to the hard disk, and then replace it somehow. This needs to be done after files are loaded from disk 2 and setup shows the welcome screen. On the hard disk, setup files are extracted into a temporary directory, named WININST0.400 or WININST1.400 etc.

There are a few ways to replace the file, including:

-installing from Windows 3.1 and alt-tabbing out of setup
-saving the virtual machine state and mounting the hard disk image in Windows, WinImage, etc.
