VersaForm 2.7
Released in 1984 by Applied Software Technology
For DOS
Image quality: Used
VersaForm is a business oriented database based around business forms
and procedures. It features easy integrated form creation, entry, and
reporting.
Early versions were for the Apple II implemented under the Apple
Pascal system, and supported large databases on Corvus hard drives.
This version is written using a DOS-hosted P-System. While the
bytecode interpreted Pascal/P-System would have made the product
easily portable across platforms, this affected its speed.
Version 2.7 does not appear to be copy protected. Reportedly earlier
versions were.
VersaForm was followed up by "VersaForm XL".
Disk 1 is a 5.25" 320k floppy disk image.
Disk 2 is a 5.25" 160k floppy disk image.
Note: These disks are formatted for DOS 1.x and may not open in tools
like WinImage.
