Hello there!

Having Recently gone through an old collection of PS1/PS2 games, I have discovered a few old demo discs, which include:

UK Playstation Magazine Demo Disc (Label number: 66) SCED-02640
UK Playstation Magazine Demo Disc (Label number: 69) SCED-02643
Suikoden II Demo Disc SLED-02742
Ico SCED-50844 (PS2)
Ape Escape 2 SCED-51366 (PS2)
Gravity Sucks SCED-50633-ANZ (PS2)
Playstation 2 Christmas Special 2003 SCED-52225
Exclusive Playsation 2 Summer Sample Disc (Promo) SCES-51407-ANZ (PS2)
Registration Demo 01 SCED-00637
Demo One SCED-00456
Winter Releases '98 SCED-01441

I'm looking for more at this very moment but if anyone is interested, I will submit ISOs for these discs to the moderators for the FTP.
If nobody is interested... well at least I asked ^-^
I am also awaiting delivery of PS1 Square's Preview discs 1 2 3 4 & 5 (NTSC-J) as well as SCED-02417 Demo for PS1.
The site isn't allowing me to link to the images I uploaded so if you want them PM me or take a squiz through the Image uploader :D

Very interested. I used to get demo discs for PS2 years ago, never knew what happened to them. You got some interesting stuff there.

Check with the Redump and/or Trurip projects, I believe it's likely there's already verified dumps of most of those discs. Now, scans of the discs (and the boxes, sleeves, whatever, if applicable) would definitely be appreciated in either case.

Oh I can certainly get scans etc. Those of you with FTP access: Can you check what's already there with regards to these demos?

That's absolutely no problem! This sort of thing is meant to be shared. It's a part of history.

I didn't think either of those sites offered downloads, so what's the point?

This page should show you the details for the upload server: servers/

If you've already uploaded them to a file-hosting website, you could post the links here in the mean time :)

Make a folder called "from [username]" (where [username] is your username), and upload into there.

What makes me sad is that I have cases for the PS2 Primal preview and the PS1 Wipeout demo but I can't find the discs, and a couple of demos have no sleeves ;-;

Ah okay. I'll be uploading soon :3

Incidentally, why don't they like JPGs as evidence?

Lossless formats are required because it means more quality to work with if the image needs alteration.

Post subject:  Re: Is anyone interested in some old PS1/PS2 Demo ISOs?

If you're OK with uploading full DVD dumps, where's the harm in a few hundred megs of images?

Anyways, that seems to be some serious resolution. Did you get all those from a camera, and/or does your scanner really have that high a resolution? Photos are meant as proof that you indeed have the physical items, for the actual artwork scans are very much preferred (no problems with things being shaky, out-of focus, distorted because of weird angles, etc.), and going above your scanner's optical resolution will just interpolate/"invent" pixels out of thin air and as such won't do much good besides blowing up the file size.

They're all up on the public upload server.

I'm not sure if they'll be considered for FTP access, but hopefully they make it to the main server :)

EDIT: also, it's probably better if you don't multi-post. You can just edit your previous post instead, as I have.
