Interestingly enough, it decided now to work by itself while it wasn't giving any sort of video about 2hrs ago 8-) with the exact same config.

You did not get me right, as no display output is initialized once 86box starts with any PCI machine.

Re: Problem installing OS/2 Warp 4.52

I'll see then. EDIT: Interestingly enough, 86Box crashes when it tries to load Disk02.img to proceed after setting both the HDD and CDROM to SCSI. I don't think this is OS/2's problem, but rather 86box since I had faced a bit similar problems when installing Windows NT 4.0 using the SCSI settings, b...

Re: Problem installing OS/2 Warp 4.52

I don't see honestly what that might differ. I think it may be a bad cd, but I got it fron the FTP and that is why I think there is some strange problem. Anyway, I'll try that and see if that makes a difference. EDIT: I thought maybe the downloaded file may be bad, so I tried this: https://www.betaa...

Problem installing OS/2 Warp 4.52

Basically, the installation goes fine until the last portion of copying files in every virtualizor I have tried. Always when OS/2 tries to copy NAMEMOVE.EXE, it hangs for a bit then displays this: https://www.betaarchive.com/imageupload/2018-05/1526812201.th.12458.PNG Is there a solution for this? O...

I think you mean the opposite, as Windows NT cannot be installed in DOSBox but could be the host.

- ATeamInc: For what it's worth, 86Box now uses the same amount of RAM as PCem, if not even slightly less, so you should give it a try again. In fact yes, and the recent builds are now way better optimized than older ones. I have tried 86box, it is full of features, however it does need quite a pow...

The thing I miss the most from that page is actually the VESA driver that's incredibly useful for running early NTs under VirtualBox. It wouldn't happen that anyone has that still archived somewhere, would it? Here's a snapshot of the article if you want the technical side: http://web.archive.org/w...

Strange. I usually get around 200kb/s download speeds. I am only getting 108kb/s. Checked our internet speed, and it is quite good at around 232kb/s. Maybe new settings and such?

I'm not sure how much luck you will have getting a current version of Avast working on NT 4.0 since it is a pretty ancient system by now. However, Avast 4.8 was the last supported version for NT 4.0, along with Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME. It was extremly lightweight and could even run o...

If you say these NT 5.0 builds hate celerons, then I'll try to get that build working in VPC 2007 on my celeron 2840 @2.16 Ghz. Maybe yours is too fast I guess?
