Re: RedStar OS 4

Can I go a bit off-topic here? Look what I've found at Naenara, the main accessible website of the DPRK. That's pretty rich coming from them lol :D I have a question about that... Don't spam off-topic nonsense, both of you. Offtopic posts deleted. Also, pittical: You are required to use the BA Imag...

Re: Should we remove all Windows 10 releases?

Most certainly not-- but perhaps there is some point to not categorically preserving every single released build, since, particularly for Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring, we get a brand new build of Windows once every seven to ten days, and a lot of them don't have a lot of stellar differences bet...

Blistering hell has it been 13 years? Doesn't feel like it.

I joined this forum in October 2007. Why do I feel so old now?

Re: Social: Show off your specs

For real here. You could use a Raspberry Pi for making this kind of web server. Back in the good old days we used to do it on Pentium IIIs and Pentium 4s so no reason to use this much power unless you're planning on making it big. If you're dead set on server hardware find an old Dell Poweredge T13...

No problem! It's gonna take somewhere in the ballpark of 12 to 36 hours, given bandwidth limitations between Europe and the U.S., as well as my ISP being a jerk and only giving me 10mbps upload. :P

Re: [REQ] Fallout 76 beta

Yeah, I've got Version 0.9.0.15, just downloaded it today. I'll archive it and upload it to the FTP. EDIT: It may take awhile. A 6700K can only compress data at about 22MB/s using 7zip... so we're looking at probably a half hour for me to fully compress the beta build, and then... probably a few hou...

Re: Any age restrictions for BetaArchive?

Instead of arguing the semantics of who is a "child" vs. "teenager"-- back to the topic at hand. I'd imagine under the new GDPR regulation the EU just passed, there isn't a specific age requirement on signing up for things and that sort of stuff. Since BetaArchive isn't hosted in the United States, ...

That is something very interesting for me, because I recently was reading a post and found a [censored] fanboy bothering us because someone made a patch to make XP NT6.0-compatible. Red card! Re: Suggestion: Make part of FTP public while WinWorld is do

Simply because: 1) WinWorld is down so noone can find any betas or stuff (because OSBA is down too) 2) It's slightly unfair to people who can't find things or poor people to have your FTP locked down. 3) I know you can search on archive.org, but that's extremely tiring and hard just to get say, lon...
