Re: How do I find out the edition on Windows Longhorn?

NTOSKRNL only has the version number, not the edition. I think they wanted to find out the edition (e.g. Professional), and not the build number.

Re: How do I find out the edition on Windows Longhorn?

You can check the edition in regedit, navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion and look for the value EditionID. It should say the edition as the value.

Re: Installing Windows 10 ARM32 Build 15035 on QEMU

Cool, but does this work on any other build or is it just 15035?
Also, can you provide more information on how you applied the patch and created the bootable VHD?

Re: Removing 9841 timebomb?

Have you tried changing the internet time sync in control panel? Go to Control Panel > Clock and Region > Date and Time, and click "Internet Time" at the top, and disable it. This should prevent it from syncing.

Re: Browsers that work with XP RTM / Longhorn

Thank you guys for the responses, I appreciate them. But, I also have 2 new questions.
1. Are there any that work on builds 4008-4051? When installing on other builds, I get errors related to Windows XP SP2 features.
2. Is there a way to ignore the certificate errors that Firefox has?

Browsers that work with XP RTM / Longhorn

Are there any modern browsers out there that can run on the Longhorn pre-reset builds? (i.e. ones that support newer encryption standards)

Re: How do I know what files I'm missing?

I've read the guide multiple times and I can't find anything wrong with it aside from the version number which I have already fixed.

That directory doesn't exist in my 3683 install. I'm currently sifting through DLLs to find some assets.

How do I know what files I'm missing?

Hi, I keep getting my FTP access application rejected due to missing files. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I used Alcohol 120% to archive the disc and I packed it all into a 7z archive with the log and everything. I can't ask what I'm missing because I don't have the permission to send messages,...
