I remember when I was younger I thought there was a universal BetaArchive FTP password everyone shared and found some "passwords" that didn't...

If you have any unleaked builds, would you ever consider releasing them to the FTP?

Re: Trying to have the Candy theme work on Whistler

Now we need to see if we can get working like this on XP RTM and up. I'll happily be a guinea pig with that!
EDIT: Just installed this in Whistler 2257 on my MacBook using VMWare Fusion 16 and it's so gloriously hideous and I love it!

And it still looks like a website from 10 years ago! Not that's a bad thing, considering what this site is for.

Best emulator/hypervisor for 9x stuff on a Mac?

I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012 and am looking for the best emulator or hypervisor for 9x stuff on the platform. Currently I just use VMware Fusion.

Mobile site

I think a mobile site would improve usability for anyone who reads and posts from a smartphone.

I found it through a YouTube channel called aevin1111 back in 2011 and joined 7 years later for no real reason.

Re: R.I.P. Windows 7 2009-2020

At my school in Beverly Ohio where the budget is almost nonexistant, they still use Windows Server 2008 R2 for mission critical servers and most desktops still use Windows 7 Professional. Some lucky few teachers got Windows 10, but most still use 7. Don't you just love the middle of [censored] nowhe...

Re: Windows 10 and Microsoft's New Logo are NO GOOD!

Blu Ray is totally outdated now. Unless you one of those few that are buying HD movies on disc, there is close to zero needs of having any optical disc drives. If your cable stops working, buy a new cable I live in the middle of BFE Ohio where Internet connections are expensive and untrustworthy. T...

Re: Windows 10 and Microsoft's New Logo are NO GOOD!

Bah, people already explained why most of your requests are unrealistic. The logos, however, will change. Eventually. It'll probably not happen any time soon, though, because brands need a certain stability. The current Windows logo was introduced at the end of 2012 and I can see it last for a few ...

Ooookkkkaaaayyyy... 1. This is BetaArchive. Not the CLG wiki. Go over there if you want to melt down about logos. 2. Do you know how many people actually have a Blu-ray drive on their computer? I mean, I have one, but I'm part of a small minority. Most machines nowadays doesn't have ANY optical dis...
