Re: Windows Vista Blade PC Edition

There appears to be a little-known SKU of Windows Vista. This SKU is known as the "Blade PC Edition." It appears to be a variation of the Business SKU with a few unknown features. But that's where information ends. There is very little documentation about this variant, and even better: distributed ...

Re: Neptune 5095?

Hello. Recently I was digging through some old software on a big Russian software archive website and found something that refers to itself as "Windows Neptune Build 5095". That archive is a qcow2 image ready for virtualizers. Downloaded it, now going to test. Any information/replies will be apprec...

Re: Windows Vista on Intel Pentium/Intel Pentium MMX

Interesting, Im currently trying to run Windows Vista on a Pentium 3 with 512MB RAM on Bochs. Vista will work relatively fine with a P3 and 512MB RAM on a physical machine too. I know this as I have used Vista on a Pentium 3 1.2GHz Dell Inspiron 4100 with 512MB of RAM (mind you it was upgraded from...

Re: Removing 9841 timebomb?

removing timebomb from fbl_release builds seems to be a pita i removed dse from 9888 and the build still doesn't boot, i assume that if i would do that and then remove the digital signature of every /windows file it may boot, but not for sure why do you want to use 9841 instead of 9834 or 9785?? I changed the spp folder with the one from Windows 8.1 pro like the topic says, however the timebomb still exists.
Did you change the other files/set sppsvc permissions?

Check the minidump, like other people suggested.
It's probably either a driver issue or a UEFI issue.

Re: Actually I've found how to remove the timebomb of 9834

Does anyone know if 9907 fbl_ie can be debombed with this method? I tried and failed to get it working (just like 9834) so I'm obviously doing something wrong. However I did manage to get rid of the annoying pop-up that asks to reinstall windows every 15 minutes. Still cannot change the desktop bac...

Have you tried changing the internet time sync in control panel? Go to Control Panel > Clock and Region > Date and Time, and click "Internet Time" at the top, and disable it. This should prevent it from syncing. I actually did that a year ago but then another problem shows up: INTERNET CERTIFICATES...

Windows 8 DP UNHANDLED_THREAD_EXCEPTION BSOD

Hi!
I gave up trying to install Windows 8 DP on my Lenovo Y700-17ISK, so I tried it on my MacBook Pro from ~2018. It gets further into the loading sequence but still crashes with a
UNHANDLED_THREAD_EXCEPTION BSOD. It is the public DP.
Thanks in advance.
