I think this would require a lot of hard work to even be done. Backporting metro from 7850 to windows 7? That would like range from very hard to nearly impossible to do

Re: Windows Server "Iron" screenshots leaked?

Iron's server builds are part of the semi annual channel, which means its command prompt shell only.
We might have to wait a while before we see a new server build with an actual desktop.

Re: It is possible to install Windows XP build 2600.1078

It is necessary to replace PIDGEN.DLL in order to install MCE or Tablet PC. Because the files responsible for the key are also broken During my first try it asked me for the second cd, and it looked like it was going well until the end, when it took me to a black screen. I replaced the PIDGEN.DLL w...

Re: It is possible to install Windows XP build 2600.1078

According to The Distractor, it took him a long time to install (with the Media Center stuff) because all the MCE keys would not work, or would install pro only. You can't ask him how he did it anymore because he deleted his account.

It is possible to install Windows XP build 2600.1078

Hi there! While I was on BetaWiki, a new user named "People" found a way to install Windows XP MCE build 2600.1078. To do this, use an ISO editor to replace the following files with copies from SP1 RTM: ACLUA.DL_ AUTOFMT.EXE AUTOLFN.EX_ AUTUMN.JP_ AUUPDATE.EX_ AVC.IN_ AVICAP.DL_ AVICAP32.DL_ AVIFIL3...

Re: Which build of Windows Longhorn is the best for my Pentium M laptop?

I have a very old laptop. So, I want to install Longhorn on it. But there is a problem while the setup. Why setup stucks at when 'Setup is starting Windows'? I always get this problem. If this problem is not fixable, I want a Windows Longhorn build without a text-mode setup. System Specifications: ...

Re: Longhorn 4033

The network stack is also hopelessly broken. Sometimes it works, sometimes it straight up dies and won't do anything but respond to ICMP PING. Whoops. On the other hand, TweakNT may or may not work in this build while WPA is non-existent. Weird. So, if I'm reading this correctly, this build has no ...

Buying an Itanium machine.
Yes, I know. Appearantly, they are pretty expensive. Such a shame as of yet, there is yet to be an Itanium emulator. I would like to try this build along with other IA-64 builds.

Re: Windows 10 Build 10051 Problem

I think i ran out of solutions. Either do 10049 (it is similar to 10051), but without the oobe bug. Or, if you really want to do 10051, try the build's server version instead. Either that, or use it in audit mode. (That's what i do for some of the v1703 enterprise builds) and create your account fro...

Then you will have to re-install it then. As i said before, do the installation as before, but when you get to oobe, go to audit mode by doing CTRL+SHIFT+F3. Then create a user account by using lusrmgr.msc. After you create your account, go back to oobe, do as normal until you reach "checking conne...

Re: Installing EN-US Language Pack in Windows 8.1 Build 9415

I have not tried this build before.
But i think the best solution is to reinstall the whole build.
This time, dont add the language pack using dism. Use lpksetup.exe instead.
Thats what i used when i tried out non-english languages on certain windows 10 builds.

It looks like its installed. Can you select it?
It is a little difficult considering its in korean.
Considering (unless you know the language, which i dont). It makes it a little difficult to use.
