New Moon is the newest that I know of. Opera is very old, being based on Chromium 49 for XP at most.

Re: Is Windows pre 3.x still being used anywhere?

Very unlikely. Windows 2.0 and 1.0 didn't have many standalone apps, and most computers of that era would just be using MS-DOS or PC-DOS anyways.

Can you verify that this works on builds 5212 through 5231? I had issues with those above VMWare 11.

Don't use USBs to install anything older than Vista. Why not just use a DVD-R or upgrade from an existing XP install?

Re: Glitch in Build 7700

I actually had written a draft post about this build, but I didn't finish it because I couldn't get the build activated. Microsoft Toolkit relies on .Net, a SLIC patcher won't run due to it being "unsupported" windows and legally activating it didn't work either. I've gotten .net framework 4.5.2 to...

Sonic 3 Nov 3 1993 Beta Leaked!

Only very recently was a Sonic 3 Beta leaked, and it's a VERY interesting one. Haven't had the time to play with it yet.

Re: Sonic Month 2019: Sonic 2

Very bizarrely, the Aug 21 build has Hidden Palace Zone present AND soundtest track 90 (Final Hidden Palace Zone theme), yet it doesn't play in the zone, instead opting for the 2-player Mystic Cave Zone theme. EDIT: Another discovery: Super Sonic partially exists in this build. Use PAR codes FFF65F:...

I think that other languages should be removed. Just keep English and language packs should do the rest.

Expected. They're trying to not have another XP incident where they provided major updates for another 4 or 5 years. They're trying to have it peacefully pass on like Vista did.

I might have found a download for KB2619246 x86, but don't have a VM to test it with. Here is the download link: https://mega.nz/#!7sxi0KQL!R_9a2Io3TwIza3jKs3FpgPQcBWTmSFTYmn-2olOmhVY I scanned it with virustotal and it came back negative, so hopefully no viruses. Not everybody has a machine from that era.
OP, you don't have to use VMWare Tools, but the video and audio driver packs on thecollectionbook.info are useful, since you can install them via device manager.

Not very surprising at all. This site isn't particularly complicated for browsers to render; hell, my 3DS browser renders it nearly flawlessly.

That's not even an official gadget. Not a very well made unofficial one, either. Some of the text clips off the box.
Anyhow, I'm guessing it might be based on the same weather service that the official weather gadget has. Check if it has any XML files.

Re: Apps for Android 2.1

The issue is that older versions of software like 2.1 weren't supported for too long. Even 2.3 has essentially no supported apps now. There are ROMs available that upgrade the version to KitKat (much more recent, runs most things).

Define "old". For gaming, MS-DOS 5.0 or 6.22 is fine. You could still probably use MS-DOS 4.0 or even 3.0.
