Just buy anything on eBay that might be worth contributing, jeez.

What if you did everything with the previous method except you copy vga.sys? From what I read here I think only graphics are a problem now.

Re: Is Windows FLP Abandonware yet?

He didn't have to follow BetaArchive's definition of abandonware. I believe no program is *truly* abandonware meaning that it's now public domain.

Re: Recent topics display is currently unavailable

I think the problem just disappeared by itself, because just as you wrote this, I stopped seeing that issue.
However, now I noticed that dates are in London time, making them shifted in other time zones (it's only one hour in my case, but it's still noticable).

I *think* OP asks what's better for dumping Apple ][ floppies: Kryoflux or Applesauce.

I have even tried 6.5-7.0
Why these two? They were both release before even 7 was RTM. Try 11, released in 2014, or 12, released in 2015, instead.

I suggest you to test VirtualBox 4.2.28 old build (1st fully windows 10 compatible): http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.2.28/VirtualBox-4.2.28-97679-Win.exe And why do you suggest a five-year-old unsupported software full of vulnerabilities? What do newer versions break? You need to instal...

2000 or final XP one, depending on build. It's not NT 5.0 to have beta startup sounds.

Show new posts is available from "Quick links," but I already miss the ability to click it instantly. I also agree with the first point you made, if only the entire icon became red, that'd be great. It's not that bad overall though, especially comparing to other redesigns in Internet, but if there's...

Re: Few games from cereal boxes

Tropico Paradise Island isn't actually a cereal box game, at least it's not meant to be. This one will surely be accepted. The rest… it's straight-up shovelware, but I'm not a judge here.

Re: Why Windows Vista/7 doesn't work on a Pentium

NT 6 can indeed run on a Pentium 4 system (I actually used to run 7 on a P-IV Prescott), but it can't run on an original Pentium NT 6 is anything from Vista to early 10 builds. Even if you want to defend yourself by saying "but obviously by NT 6 I meant NT 6.0 == Vista," you later say 7 SP0 may req...

Rob Jansen didn't have problems installing both of them, you didn't specify what are you installing it on, but my guess is that you're using too new version of VMware/VirtualBox. Use compatibil...

Re: Installation Windows Longhorn 3718

This laptop is too new, you won't get at least sound with any pre-reset LH. If you really want to install it, I suggest grabbing some WinPE (like MiniXP from Hiren's BootCD 15.2, Hiren's BootCD PE, but even Vista+ boot.wim will be enough) and WinNTSetup.

1. Don't you think if Microsoft created XP SP1 for some companies, then it's official? 2. The disc I linked earlier looks like this (had to convert to jpg because original 12.1MB png threw an error that file is empty): https://www.betaarchive.com/imageupload/2020-04/1588159843.th.35166.jpg Top text ...
