Re: Shorthorn Project

Will you ever upload your 5048 build? It's been saying coming soon since 2017.

What might these "fixes" be? or are you talking about the debomb process?

Yep, I had this problem when I tried to debomb 9834 normally so it might just be something I'm doing wrong, however I was able to debomb Windows 8 CP with a similar method so who knows.

Anyway to fix the settings app in server 9845?

This is mostly me being curious however if it can be done I'd be happy. I noticed in the client build of 9845 the settings app and the power menu works fine, however in the server variant of the build, after installing desktop experience packages it fails to work at all. I was wondering if it would ...

Re: Special Thank You & Future of BA Announcement

If per say, someone isn't able to help donate any money or a very small amount but wants to help with the site/database overall, is there anything they can do? IE donate servers, hard drives, or other resources that may potentially help with the cause? :) I would love to help more than I have in the...

I changed the spp folder with the one from Windows 8.1 pro like the topic says, however the timebomb still exists.

Re: Actually I've found how to remove the timebomb of 9834

Does anyone know if 9907 fbl_ie can be debombed with this method? I tried and failed to get it working (just like 9834) so I'm obviously doing something wrong. However I did manage to get rid of the annoying pop-up that asks to reinstall windows every 15 minutes. Still cannot change the desktop back...

As you can see I still ahve that black username at this time, but it's understandable why it could take so much. THis site grows every day, and there is only so much Addy can do to keep the FTP running smoothly.

Well I think the crafting part will be taken care of with the new automatic crafting in the game. Like you will only need to have the items in your inventory and then the itme will automatically be selected.

Even though this is a private beta, all I would like to see are some screen shots during the build phase, at least Microsoft, give us that. Hopefully soon they will make a public build.

I just can't process that the consumer will be placing blocks down via joystick, won't that be hard? Well it will be something we all have to get used to if you decide to get it, but I don't see it was a problem, since the joystick acts as the same was the computer mouse does on a PC (Or at least I...

I have it was a main OS on my Dell Duo, and on there the touch feels great, but the stability is not up to par with everything else that makes Windows 8 a good OS. Hopefully these problems are fixed when the final is released.

Re: Minecraft Alpha vs Minecraft Beta

I do like the textures in the Alpha more than the beta (or even the final release) but the Alpha did get very boring after hours of gameplay. With all these new additions in the final 1.2.4 at the moment, it just makes it a entire new game. Even the betas have had major improvements over the alpha, ...
