Windows 95 (Codenamed Chicago) is the first 16/32-bit hybrid version of Microsoft Windows operating system. It featured the new explorer shell, and Windows Desktop Update (also known as the IE 4 Shell Update) can be installed to it in order to get the updated shell like in Windows 98.

Early Development

NOTE: Some doubt the existence of these builds, however, Build 34 certainly exists, since there are references to it within OLDSETUP.INF (renamed SETUP.INF from the reminants of the earlier Chicago builds found in later builds).
