NT4 setup problem

I have been trying to run Windows NT 4.0 on an Acer Aspire One ZG5 netbook. I am having this problem.

if your system's BIOS has a "CPUID limit" option or similar, enable it.

if not, you're out of luck.

Would it be possible to upgrade from a previous version to avoid the problem?
Can you upgrade to NT4 from Win 3.x?
