Build 14393 claimed as Redstone RTM

Post by MrUTB »

According to some sources, Microsoft has signed-off RTM build for Windows 10 Anniversary Update, and It should be Build 14393. It contains a Zero-Patch day and It should be released via WU at time to AU GA.

It would benefit the community greatly if you could provide a source.

Final RTM build numbers tend to be evenly divisible by 16. This build number does not pertain to that rule. Given that 9600 and 10240 do correspond to that rule, I'd wager a guess that the final RTM build number will not be 14393. They will likely inflate the build number to whatever divisible number build they choose.

This is no longer the rule. TH2 RTM is 10586...

They explicitly removed this requirement early in the TH2 process, along with the RTM having a delta of 16384(+).

A number of journos have since "confirmed" this, though a number of them did also confirm 14390.

I think 14393 is probably a safe-ish bet myself.

I got my builds confused - mixing Windows 8.1 with 10 is a pretty bad sign of how far gone my brain was last night. I had a terrible headache, which apparently caused great confusion. In any case, I stand corrected by you guys.
