C interpreters from the 1980s

Post by AYBABTU »

I have a project at the Computer History Museum to collect work, done mostly in the 1970s and 80s, on interactive C interpreters/compilers.

In most cases, I have contacted the original developers but they no longer have the materials. Does BetaArchive have any of these?

C-terp (Gimpel Software) for DOS/Windows
Instant-C (Rational Systems / Tenberry Software) for DOS/Windows
Interactive-C (IMPACC Associates) for DOS
RUN/C Professional v2.03 (Age of Reason) for DOS
Saber-C / CodeCenter (Saber Software / CenterLine Software) for Unix
Safe-C Interpreter (Catalytix Corporation) for DOS/Unix/VMS/MacOS

Thanks for the list. Nothing there. Oh, well.

CEnvi is a cmm interpreter from Nombas. You can find it variously at 2.x as shareware.
