Can't connect to FTP (on FileZilla): error 530

Hi, I'm connecting to the FTP server for the first time in about 3 years today; I was permanently banned but I appealed recently-ish (last 6 months) and got it revoked.
Went to the FTP server page, updated my IP-lock + password, waited a few minutes then tried to connect, however on every attempt I am just greeted with this log:

Command:	USER knucklesarouge
Response:	331 Password required for knucklesarouge.
Command:	PASS ****************
Response:	530 Not logged in, account is temporarily disabled.
Error:	   Critical error: Could not connect to server

I tried searching the forums at first, but unfortunately the only results I could find were from August 2011-- when there was a global issue.
I am wondering if this could possibly be to do with my former ban? I know it was appealed a while ago, but this is my first attempt to actually connect to the FTP. At least as far as I know.

It says account disabled. Probably nothing you can do on your end except PM Andy or mrpijey.

Possibly due to inactivity looking at your latest forums posts, can't say for sure PM Andy/mrpijey (if you haven't already).

- Gnome: He was banned some years ago and recently unbanned, and his account might have been disabled when he was banned, so it might simply need reactivating, but that's Andy's and mrpijey's decision whether to do it or not.
